High Quality Assets
Mustang Geothermal Corp. has a large portfolio of geothermal projects located throughout Nevada, located in the zones permissive to geothermal source occurrences and high-temperature required for power generation. Almost all of the properties are located in the zones of known geothermal activity, in vicinity of supporting infrastructure and consumption markets and are being evaluated using the most modern exploration approaches in geophysics, geochemistry and geothermal prospecting. Exploration in Nevada is complicated by the fact that over half of the state is comprised of large, sediment-filled valleys, which tend to mask some of the most promising geothermal targets. Traditional exploration methods do not work well in these settings. By focusing on geology and hydrology, we have narrowed down the zones of interest and intend to focus to develop these regions from grassroots to production.
Long-Life, Renewable Assets
Geothermal energy is power extracted from the heat stored in the earth’s core. The Earth’s internal heat naturally flows to the surface by conduction, and is replenished by radioactive decay of minerals. Consequently, the life-span of geothermal power generating facilities is expected to exceed 50 years.
Experienced Management Team
Mustang Geothermal management and expert team have over 100 years of combined experience in exploration, mining, development, infrastructure and geothermal energy. The core of the executive team has gained its experience internationally and possess the full gambit of experience in ensuring timely execution – from exploration through to operation. This team, with a vested interest in the Company’s success, brings years of experience in novel exploration and development. Whereas much of the industry is focused on optioning, joint venturing, and re-examining the same properties that have been around for decades, we are focused on advancing the previously unexplored targets identified by our combined set of prospecting tools and exploration experience.
